• Hurricane Florence Is Not an Omen About Climate Change

Hurricane Florence Is Not an Omen About Climate Change

In today’s hyper-politicized world of climate science, hardly a thunderstorm passes without somebody invoking the “scientists say” trope to blame it on carbon emissions.

The logic seems to be: If it’s bad, it was caused by carbon emissions, and we are only going to see more and worse. More and worse floods, droughts, tornadoes, and of course, hurricanes.

The problem with this argument is that overall, we are not seeing more floods, droughts, tornadoes, or hurricanes in spite of the steady rise in the small amount of carbon dioxide, and in spite of the mild warming of the planet. The data show that there is no significant upward trend in any of these weather events. READ MORE...

  • What I Don’t Like About Life in Post-9/11 America

What I Don’t Like About Life in Post-9/11 America

“A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.”―Edward Abbey, American author

Life in a post-9/11 America increasingly feels like an endless free fall down a rabbit hole into a terrifying, dystopian alternative reality in which the citizenry has no rights, the government is no friend to freedom, and everything we ever knew and loved about the values and principles that once made this country great has been turned on its head.

We’ve walked a strange and harrowing road since September 11, 2001, littered with the debris of our once-vaunted liberties. READ MORE...

Trump Admin: We Will No Longer Cooperate With the International Criminal Court

Editor’s Note:  While this is certainly good news to hear, the fact that it comes from warmongering Council on Foreign Relations member John Bolton is concerning.  Could this be the prelude to his advice to President Donald Trump to continue more unconstitutional, aggressive attacks on countries without congressional approval?  Probably.

The ICC is nothing short of an international sharia court. Why would even consider recognizing it? This announcement is perfectly timed — on the eve of September 11th. READ MORE...

Watchdog Eyes Classified Material as Deadline Looms on Clinton Emails

The classified material Hillary Clinton sent and received using an unsecure, private email server included correspondence with foreign leaders, according to documents obtained from the State Department by a government watchdog group.

Judicial Watch, which has called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to order “an honest criminal investigation” of Clinton’s email practices while she was secretary of state, now awaits a federal judge’s Sept. 28 deadline for the State Department to finish sorting through the emails. • Historical Record Refutes President Bush's Claim after 9/11: “Islam is peace.”

Historical Record Refutes President Bush’s Claim after 9/11: “Islam is peace.”

I wrote my new book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS mostly chronologically, starting with Muhammad’s conquests in Arabia and moving forward. It’s a bloody history, and one indelible impression one gets from proceeding through the centuries of jihad warfare is of the persistence of the jihadis. They never give up, they never give in, and they never take any setback, no matter how devastating, as decisive. They keep coming, and have kept coming at non-Muslims, from Spain to India and elsewhere, as I show in the book, without respite, without reprieve, without reform. READ MORE...

September 11: Political Islam’s Long War on the West

SEPTEMBER 11, 1565:  Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent dominated the Mediterranean, with intentions of not only invading Sicily, Sardinia, Majorca, and southern Spain, but Rome itself.

The only thing standing in his way was the small rocky Island of Malta just south of Sicily, defended by the Knights of Malta.

In March of 1565, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent sent Algerian Admiral Dragut to Malta with 200 ships and 40,000 Muslim soldiers, including 6,500 elite Janissary troops.

    Dragut stated:

“Unless you have smoked out this nest of vipers, you can do no good anywhere.” READ MORE...

  • TSA Needs Reform. Here's What My Bill Would Change.

TSA Needs Reform. Here’s What My Bill Would Change.

In the 17 years since its inception, the Transportation Security Administration has managed to incorporate itself into the American way of life, both as a topic of news coverage and as a punch line for comedians.

Now that an entire generation of Americans can’t remember the pre-TSA era, most people who fly can recall a personal experience with the agency.

And these experiences are rarely stellar.

After the Sept. 11 terror attacks, a push was made to federalize the previously privately-run screening process at airports. This resulted in the TSA being formed under the Department of Homeland Security. READ MORE...
