Facebook Bans Infowars As Rapper Who Posted Child Porn to Instagram Keeps His Account

As Facebook targets pages for removal who post politically charged content, a rapper who used their platform to upload child porn is reaching millions.

As the Free Thought Project pointed out last week, a concerted effort by multiple social media companies and tech giants was formed to remove Alex Jones from their platforms. These platforms, including Facebook, claimed Jones’ rhetoric violated their terms of service, so they effectively eradicated his audience on social media.

As TFTP reported, Jones pushes anti-Muslim rhetoric, plays right along with the two-party paradigm, and serves as little more than a cheerleader for the current president, all while stoking divide all the way along. His words are often hateful and he sometimes spreads outrageous conspiracy theories. READ MORE...

Sen. Bill Nelson Admits He Has No Evidence Of 2018 Election Hacking

Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson claimed the Florida voting system had been compromised by Russians, but now he’s backpedaling that claim.

Last week, Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson claimed that the Florida voting system had been compromised by Russians leading up to the 2018 elections. But on Tuesday, the Florida senator distanced himself from his earlier claim, blaming the political climate for his inconsistent statements.

Last month, Nelson and Republican Sen. Marco Rubio co-authored a letter they sent to 67 county election supervisors within the state, urging them to be vigilant and warning them of potential threats in November. This letter did not state that voting systems had been “penetrated” by the Russians, as Nelson claimed last week. READ MORE...

How Support For Socialism Arises From Ingratitude

“The man who sips his morning coffee does not say, ‘Capitalism has brought this beverage to my breakfast table.’ But when he reads in the papers that the government of Brazil has ordered part of the coffee crop destroyed, he does not say, ‘That is government for you’: he exclaims ‘That is capitalism for you.’” —Ludwig von Mises, “Interventionism”

“The careless soul receives the Father’s gifts as if it were a way things had of dropping into his hand … For the good that comes to him, he gives no thanks — who is there to thank? At the disappointments that befall him he grumbles — there must be someone to blame!” —George MacDonald, “Unspoken Sermons” READ MORE...

London Muslim Mayor Wants A CAR BAN – Since Regulating Guns And Knives Failed

The mayor of the ever increasingly violent city of London is now seeking a ban on cars in certain areas after a “car attack.”  Since banning guns and regulating knives hasn’t worked, Sadiq Khan said he’s likely to ban cars to prevent future terrorist attacks.

Violence in London continues to spike regardless of the weapons used by those committing acts of aggression. But since a gun ban and severe knife regulations have failed to stop violence, Khan wants certain areas to be “car free zones” in response to an alleged terror attack committed with a car. According to Politico, Khan says his proposed car ban would help keep people and buildings safe after car drives into cyclists and pedestrians. 90 Percent Of Scandinavia’s Wealth Is Privately Owned

I woke up early one recent morning, scanned the news, and stumbled upon a tweet praising an “informative and fun podcast episode” that promised to set the record straight on Scandinavian socialism. Having read a decent amount about the Nordic model, I was curious to see what kind of wisdom Matt and Elizabeth “Liz” Bruenig, of the People’s Policy Project and Washington Post, respectively, had in store.

After a light-hearted intro, Liz began with “Norway is not socialist?” alluding to a recent Forbes article that contradicted claims that Scandinavia is a socialist paradise. This prompted a 30-minute rebuttal from Matt of people he described as “takesters” and a case for why the Nordic countries, particularly Norway, are indeed socialist, sprinkled with occasional “booms,” uh-huhs,” and “yeahs” from Liz whenever she thought he had made a good point. For those who have not heard the show, think: a wonky version of Diamond and Silk for Bernie bros. READ MORE...

These Screenshots Show Google Shadowbans Conservative Content

Now that others are venturing timidly from their foxholes, I can take to print without becoming the sole target of a vengeful, monopolistic technocracy. It appears that Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter have all gone to war with President Trump, and are punishing anyone who dares to speak up for him.

.@YouTube has added a disclaimer to my global warming video, saying: “evidence show[s] that the climate system is warming.”

I say that in my video, too. But does YouTube really need to inject its opinion? Is there no room for nuance?https://t.co/yvSuiUj6j6 READ MORE...

CNN Sued The Government For Names, Addresses Of Manafort Jurors

The anti-Trump cable news network has a long history of doxxing threats and harassment.

In a motion filed in federal court on Thursday, CNN and several other media outlets requested that the court release the names and home addresses of all jurors in the Paul Manafort fraud case. Jurors haven not yet rendered a verdict on any of the 18 charges against Manafort, who briefly served as President Donald Trump’s campaign manager in 2016.

The motion — filed on behalf of CNN, Washington Post, BuzzFeed, POLITICO, New York Times, NBC Universal, and the Associated Press — asks the court to provide to the media organizations the full names and home addresses of the men and women who were summoned and selected by the federal government to serve as jurors in Manafort’s fraud case.
