• The Final Countdown In The Push For Birth To Grave "Education"

The Final Countdown In The Push For Birth To Grave “Education”

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, you’ve heard me say for a long time that the LAST chain in the birth to grave education alignment is the HEA (Higher Education Act) as it is re-authorized. Since ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) embedded the HEA (along with WIOA, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) within its 391 final law version, we learned the goal all along is what you see below:

So, Warriors, the million dollar question is, what will the new version of HEA’s goal be?

We know the “every” in ESSA means ALL children in PreK-12th grade (no matter what choice) to be aligned to post-secondary ‘readiness’ standards. Those ‘standards’ aren’t educational ones, but those workforce standards created and credentialed BY industries found in WIOA(Which is WHY both WIOA and HEA were tied to ESSA’s mandates) READ MORE...

Trump Budget Seeks More Border Wall Funding, Work Rules for Welfare

President Donald Trump’s fiscal 2020 budget proposal would eliminate the federal deficit in 15 years, add new work requirements for welfare recipients, and fund additional construction of a border wall.

The reaction to the spending blueprint by Democrats was predictably negative.

The $4.7 trillion proposal, which projects a $1.1 trillion deficit, also asks Congress to cut discretionary spending, something it hasn’t done in recent years, even when under Republican control.

“You mention mandatory spending. It is a driver. We have more reforms than any other president’s budget in history, but, look, what has happened for far too long is that Congress has blamed mandatory spending and then increased discretionary spending, which they have a vote on every single year by large degrees,” Office of Management and Budget acting Director Russ Vought told The Daily Signal on Monday.   READ MORE...

  • How Michael Jackson Became the Thriller Monster

How Michael Jackson Became the Thriller Monster

It’s been said there’s no real dignity in death. And despite his legendary career, dignity was certainly in short supply the day Michael Jackson died from a Propofol-induced “nap” at his $100,000-a-month Bel Air palace nearly a decade ago. Certainly the horrific revelations of the new HBO documentary Leaving Neverland should settle any question over whether “in” should be placed before “famous” when describing the King of Pop.

Personally, I have always, and with sadness, felt that Jackson was guilty, from the time the first allegations surfaced in the early 2000s. I have also believed his guilt was by reason of insanity and diminished capacity. Jackson was not some kind of Freddy Krueger-like monster who got off on overcoming and hurting helpless creatures. Clearly, all of his creative ambition in those later years was aimed at trying to recreate a childhood he never had, to un-ring the cynical, sexualized, tarnished bell of adulthood, to fly off and become Peter Pan. There was something broken and unformed about him. READ MORE...

Half of Young Americans Want to Live in a Socialist Country

Half of young Americans would rather live in a socialist country, according to a new poll.

The Harris Poll found that 49.6 percent of millennials prefer living in a socialist country.

Pew Research Center defines millennials as those born between 1981 and 1996, ages 23 to 38 in 2019, and Gen Z, those born between 1997 and 2012.

Mike Gonzalez, a senior fellow at The Heritage Foundation’s Center for Foreign Policy, told The Daily Signal in an email that the trend toward socialism is due to politically biased education. READ MORE...

Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar on Trump & Obama: “One Is Human, The Other Is Not”

While there are plenty of emails I get in my inbox stating that people are happy to see someone finally calling out the Israeli lobbyists, and I don’t mind that, I have a greater concern about Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) agenda, underlying ideology and criminal history in why she is engaging in what she is.  She is clearly anti-American and basically states that she is not here to assimilate but rather we are to accommodate her and Somalis like her.  Still, in a recent comment, Omar claimed the usurper, Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah, is somehow “human,” while President Donald Trump is not. • Feds to Unseal Epstein Documents Revealing Scope of Billionaire’s International Child Sex Trafficking Ring

Feds to Unseal Epstein Documents Revealing Scope of Billionaire’s International Child Sex Trafficking Ring

On Monday, a Manhattan appeals court gave billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s former alleged partner in crime, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, until March 19 to establish good cause as to why documents detailing the scope and size of their international child sex trafficking operation should remain sealed. Failing to do so would mean these documents will be made public.

“We’re grateful that the court ruled the summary judgment papers are open and they are moving to expedite having them unsealed,’’ said Sanford Bohrer, the attorney representing the Miami Herald. “This is very unusual for a court to do this.” READ MORE...

Peace Cross Ruling Could Be a Decisive Moment for Religious Toleration

The Supreme Court is currently deliberating over what is arguably the biggest case of the term.

The court heard oral argument on Feb. 27 in The American Legion v. American Humanist Association, a dispute over the constitutionality of a World War I veterans’ memorial. The pending outcome could make it one of the most important First Amendment cases in a generation.

The legal dispute involves the Bladensburg World War I Veterans Memorial, also known as the Peace Cross. In 1925, Gold Star Mothers and The American Legion erected the memorial to honor the 49 men from Prince George’s County, Maryland, who fought and died in World War I. READ MORE...

  • Mike Pompeo Tells Embassy in Venezuela to Come Home

Mike Pompeo Tells Embassy in Venezuela to Come Home

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced Monday he is pulling remaining U.S. Embassy staffers from Venezuela because of the country’s worsening situation.

“The U.S. will withdraw all remaining personnel from [the Caracas embassy] this week,” Pompeo tweeted late Monday night. “This decision reflects the deteriorating situation in [Venezuela] as well as the conclusion that the presence of U.S. diplomatic staff at the embassy has become a constraint on U.S. policy.”

The announcement comes as Venezuela continues to descend into chaos. Its government is currently attempting to restore electricity after four days of blackouts around the country, the latest in what has become a humanitarian crisis for the socialist country led by Nicolas Maduro. READ MORE...

  • 2018 Gubernatorial Loser: 2020 Presidential Bid Is On The Table

2018 Gubernatorial Loser: 2020 Presidential Bid Is On The Table

The one thing that the 2020 field needs is more Democrats making hopeless runs for a nomination they can’t win in the hopes of either getting a Veep spot or higher speaking fees.. And the clown car is being chased by even bigger clowns. Like Stacey Abrams.

You may remember Stacey from her defeat in 2018. But these days just coming in second in a Senate race qualifies you to run for the White House.

So that person who gives literacy a run for its money, tweeted this.

In #LeadFromTheOutside, I explore how to be intentional about plans, but flexible enough to adapt. 20 years ago, I never thought I’d be ready to run for POTUS before 2028. But life comes at you fast – as I shared in Q&A w @Yamiche at @sxsw. Now 2020 is definitely on the table…” READ MORE...

Deadbeat Nation: 37 Million Credit Card Accounts In The US Are “Seriously Delinquent” Right Now

Is the consumer debt bubble finally starting to burst?  If the latest numbers on delinquent credit card accounts are any indication, that appears to be precisely what is happening.  As I noted the other day, Americans currently have 480 million credit cards, and they are carrying 870 billion dollars worth of balances on those cards.  That is one giant pile of debt, but there won’t be a problem as long as the vast majority of Americans regularly make their credit card payments.  Unfortunately, the number of credit card accounts that are delinquent has been steadily rising, and now we are being told that the number of “seriously delinquent” accounts has shot up to 37 million READ MORE...
